Rava's Awful, Amazing Day

It’s Rava the fire daemon's first day in America and he has to face the worst horror imaginable: homework! Rava’s Awful, Amazing Day is a lighthearted, LGBTQ-friendly action/comedy novelette. This is a 7.8K-word side-story to the free webcomic, Children of Shadow and takes place 3 years before the main story. While it can be enjoyed on its own, it does lean on the reader being familiar with the world and characters of the comic. Contains some language and violence; nothing exceeding PG-13.
This was my earliest piece of prose and is rough around the edges, which is why I'm making it available for free. I think it's still a pretty fun and enjoyable little story, even if it's not reflective of my current skills.
