A businessman, exhausted by the monotony of his daily routine, finds courage in a stubborn vine of ivy growing from the mortar above his favourite coffee shop. In the aftermath of a devastating storm, its resilience might just inspire him to finally approach the man of his dreams.
This short piece of flash-fiction was inspired by the green stripe of the pride flag. Included is a PDF of the story and a high-res JPG of the illustration, drawn traditionally with colored pencil on bristol.
